Who We Are

LeRoy City Lines went into service on December 1, 2016, two years after another bus company had discontinued its longstanding commuter service. The LeRoy Economic Development Authority (EDA) analyzed how to best fill the void and eventually made the decision to provide its own bus service. EDA members Axel Gumbel and Craig Jacobson manage the day-to-day operations. We feel strongly that a public transportation service is vital to our city’s economy and relevance in the region. Offering commuter service to southeastern Minnesota’s economic hub allows employees to choose an affordable, small-town life with easy access to their place of work.
